WH Flooring & Tiling were awarded the contract to carry out works to the StoneX Stadium West Stand, adapting the spaces to make them more practical to use.
The brief
A complete overhaul of the first-team changing areas and communal spaces, transforming rooms into new changing facilities for multi-sport use alongside the newly formed W Club for corporate guests.
Our approach
Nora rubber flooring was installed in sheet and tile forms, with rubber skirtings for a clean look. The central core areas were transformed using Solus and Minoli ceramic tiles, with Polysafe vinyls in the coaches’ and officials’ rooms and changing areas. The W Club was given a new look with engineered wood and ceramic floor tiles, creating a more luxurious matchday experience for corporate guests.
The outcome
A new feel throughout the West Stand facilities, with a new team changing room, shower room and ice bath area. A newly tiled entrance welcomes guests and players, while a new corporate area accommodates guests before and after matches. The works also provided a new media room and four changing rooms with showers for multi-sport use.
