How we use your personal information.

What we collect

When you order, we collect your name, email address and phone number, your delivery address if you choose delivery, what you ordered and whether your payment succeeded. We do not receive your full card details; Stripe handles them.

• Messages you send us about an order.
• If you asked to be told when the shop opened, the email address you gave for that notice.

How we use it

We use your information to take payment, prepare your order, arrange collection or delivery, send order, collection and refund emails, handle returns, and keep the accounting and tax records the law requires. We use it because we need it to carry out our contract with you and to meet our legal duties.

• We do not send marketing emails from this shop.
• We do not sell your information.

Who we share it with

We share only what each service needs to do its job for us. Some of these providers may process information outside the UK; where they do, they use legal safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

• Stripe, to take payments and prevent fraud.
• Resend, to send our order emails.
• Supabase, which hosts our order records.
• The delivery company carrying your order, such as Parcelforce, for delivery orders.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for six years, as required for tax and accounting. If you only asked to hear when the shop opened, we keep that email address until you ask us to remove it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we do not need to keep it. Contact us at orders@whflooringtiling.co.uk or 01274 493030. Cookies and browser storage

The shop uses your browser's storage to remember your basket, samples and price display setting on your own device. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe's payment page sets its own cookies to keep payments secure.
